Salisbury Power Squadron A Unit of United States Power Squadrons ® Sail and Power Boating
Thank you for allowing me to serve as your commander. I look forward to a very successful year. We will focus primarily on increasing our membership as well as helping current members become more involved in the Squadron. Since most of our new members are recruited through our public boating course, we will continue to make it a top priority. Another great way of promoting the squadron to prospective members is through our V.E. program. It’s a great way to initiate a conversation and educate people as to what we do in the squadron. In an effort to motivate current members, we will continue the many activities and programs that have made the SPS such a great organization. These Include the Predicted Log Contest, Navigation Contest, Crab Feast, Oyster Roast, and let’s not forget our education courses. As we all know, the success of these activities and classes will depend on member involvement. To that end, we encourage all of our members to participate. What a great way to get to know your fellow members and have a fun time. Who knows, you may even learn something! So, please try and support these activities. Thanks again and let’s have a great year! Regards, Commander Joe Delatte, AP Revised 19 April 2005 Copyright © 1997, 2005 Salisbury Power Squadron.
